Welcome to beautiful southwest North Dakota and 21 Angus Ranch!
We are a fifth-generation cattle ranch and include Marc and Anne Wolf, their children John, Jake and Molly, and Marc's parents Archie and Diane Wolf.
The Wolf family of 21 Angus Ranch is now entering its 108th year of cattle ranching. Archie was born at the very ranch where our operation continues today! The success of our program is the result of “what you see is what you get” genetics. 21 Angus Ranch bulls and females live in the most adverse conditions, and thrive.
Our mother cows are the rock of our operation, and we are so proud of these girls. They continue to produce phenomenal calves with minimal input. 21 Angus Ranch females must have good udder and teat quality, good foot shape, quiet disposition, and be able to raise big calves by themselves year after year. We have worked hard over the years to develop the kind of herd genetics that work well in range country.
All of the 21 Angus Ranch calves are born right here on the ranch. This is very important because we see first hand the good mothering of the cows and the calving ease of the bulls. It takes the guesswork out for our customers as well.
Our Top Cut Bull Sale is held annually on the last Saturday in January at the Ranch.
We are proud to be our own operation, where every family member plays an important part. It brings us much joy to pass ranching down to our children, and it “couldn’t be better” than to raise our kids on the pretty prairies where we grew up.
